We are a newlywed couple who got married after 10 years of dating! While preparing for our wedding, we coincidentally ended up having our ceremony on our 10th anniversary! Since it was such a long-awaited moment, both the wedding and honeymoon felt even more special to us.

Q1. Why did you choose Africa as your honeymoon destination?

✔️We didn't have a specific reason for choosing Africa for our honeymoon. It was mostly driven by a vague longing I’ve had since childhood to see an African safari with my own eyes. Since this was one of the few opportunities we would ever have to take such a long vacation, we thought, 'If not now, when?' That thought pushed us to boldly choose Tanzania. Looking back, it was a decision we will cherish for a lifetime.

Q2. What was the most memorable moment during your trip?

✔️Game drives with our guide: We went on game drives with our guide Joseph, and since we're not really high-energy people by nature, Joseph's calm and caring approach was perfect for us! Thanks to Joseph's 'super eyes,' we were able to see various animals, and met as many as four rhinos in one day which was truly an unforgettable experience.

Q3. How was the luxury accommodation in Tanzania?

At Kubukubu Lodge, we had the special experience of elephants appearing right behind our room! For safety reasons, even though it was morning, Maasai staff members came to escort us directly from our room, warning us not to get too close, but even that moment was filled with both tension and excitement. Getting both luxury that you can only enjoy on an African safari and vivid experiences at the same time made it an accommodation we'll remember for life.

Q4. What was the most satisfying aspect of traveling with Ahmo Travel?
