💬 Please introduce yourselves!

We're newlyweds who went to Kenya and Tanzania for our honeymoon.

We've loved animals since we were kids, and we always hoped to one day meet, in their natural habitat, the wild animals we had only seen in documentaries or zoos.

💬 Why did you choose Africa as your destination?

For me, the Serengeti had long been the number 1 destination on my bucket list.

We wanted a special honeymoon that would stay with us longer than an ordinary trip, so we boldly decided to stop putting it off and go to the Serengeti.

💬 What was the most memorable moment or place of the trip?

We did many things, like game drives, a Maasai village visit and a walking safari, but every moment of the game drives is what we remember most.

Watching so many wild animals living in nature, barely bothered by people or safari vehicles, made us feel naturally at peace.

We even saw a cheetah on the hunt and a lion failing at a hunt right in front of us.

It was hard to believe we were seeing scenes we had only watched in documentaries, and it became an experience we will never forget.

💬 Was there anything you worried about while preparing for Africa?

A trip to Africa naturally needed more preparation than other destinations.

We had to look up which vaccinations were needed and where to get them, and arrange them ourselves around our schedule, which felt a bit like a hassle.

Still, since it was a once-in-a-lifetime honeymoon, we prepared everything step by step with a lot of excitement.
