Hello! We’re newlyweds who met on a blind date, fell in love quickly, and got married on our one-year anniversary.

💬 What made you choose Africa as your honeymoon destination?

After watching "Around the World in 80 Days", I always thought of visiting Africa at least once in my life. So when my husband said it was his dream honeymoon destination, I didn’t hesitate—we chose Africa right away!

💬 What was the most memorable destination or experience during your honeymoon?

In Kenya, our game drive in the Maasai Mara was unforgettable. Watching elephants, giraffes, and zebras grazing freely right in front of us made my heart race—and when I saw a male lion that had just taken down a buffalo, I thought, “This is a real safari.”

While staying in Nairobi, we visited an elephant orphanage and a giraffe center, where we could see the animals up close, touch them, and take photos. More than anything, it was incredible to interact so closely with animals I had only ever seen in zoos.

Finally, our time at Luxury Lodge and Beyond loved by honeymooners, was unforgettable. Watching warthogs and mongooses playing freely around the camp—animals we’d never seen back home in South Korea—felt surreal.
