A Month Alone in Africa — A Working Professional’s Honest Travel Story
Botswana - Serengeti - Ngorongoro - Tarangire - Chobe

Based on a customer’s review, this content has been thoughtfully edited into an interview format.
👋 Please introduce yourself!

I am an office worker who has traveled to 58 countries. During my university days, I traveled through Europe and the Americas (North, Central, and South America) and felt truly great happiness. I learned so much too. From that time on, travel became both my hobby and my life itself.
💬 Why did you choose Africa as your honeymoon destination?
During my university days when I was traveling frequently, it's not that I hadn't been to Africa at all, but I had only visited Egypt and Morocco, which are Arab regions, so I felt like I hadn't properly experienced Africa.

This time I had the opportunity to travel for a month, and I was determined to visit the Serengeti where I could see my favorite animals to my heart's content.
💬 What was your Africa travel itinerary?
I started my African journey at Victoria Falls and traveled through Botswana's Chobe National Park, Zambia, Malawi, Dar es Salaam, and Tanzania.
I traveled with Ahmotravel through Botswana and Tanzania, finishing my trip in Zanzibar, Tanzania.

💬 What did you like most about Africa?
📌The great outdoors and balloon safari
Looking back after finishing the trip, Africa's characteristic vast plains, the red and enormous sun, and the spirited locals all remain as wonderful memories. One of the best parts of the Serengeti trip was the balloon safari. If you're planning to travel to Tanzania, you absolutely must do the balloon safari!

It's not a cheap activity, and some reviews said it wasn't much different from viewing from a small aircraft, so I had my doubts, but my choice was right! Unlike viewing from a car or small plane, the balloon safari had its own dreamy and emotional charm. The spectacular sight of zebras, giraffes, and wildebeest moving in herds was truly on another level!

💬 How were Ahmotravel's guides?
📌Both the professional and the outgoing guides were amazing
With Ahmotravel, I traveled through Botswana's Chobe National Park and Tanzania's Serengeti National Park and met two guides. First, regarding the Chobe National Park guide, he felt like the epitome of a guide . He led the tour in a very smart and calm manner. He would quietly search for animals with binoculars, suddenly show them to us, and provide appropriate and clear explanations about the animals. Sometimes he used books and pictures in his explanations too.

Joseph, the Serengeti guide, was basically the life of the party. He was so spirited that he never let me, traveling alone, get bored. When searching for animals, he constantly communicated with his friends and quickly moved to spots where animals were gathered. With his good instincts and action, I saw many animals and got a great view of the wildebeest migration! Even talking with other people I met at the accommodation, it seemed like I saw more animals than everyone else.

💬 What were the good points about traveling with Ahmotravel?
Although I've traveled a lot, I've rarely used travel agencies. I learned about Ahmo through a friend's recommendation, but at that time I was somewhat skeptical about travel agencies.
However, during the first video consultation, all my concerns were easily put to rest.

📌Optimal travel route suggestions and quality composition
Originally, I was planning to visit the Serengeti after visiting Zanzibar, but Ahmotravel proactively modified the itinerary, saying I should visit the Serengeti first considering the wildebeest migration. As a result, I was able to witness with my own eyes the touching spectacle of wildebeest herds crossing the river from Kenya to Tanzania that I had only heard about.

Usually, I understand that travel agencies tend to mechanically arrange itineraries according to budget, but Ahmotravel of course considers budget but I think their biggest advantage is helping you have the optimal travel experience! During the trip, I was impressed once again by the professional guides, clean vehicle conditions, and accommodation quality that exceeded expectations. I'm planning to visit Namibia, South Africa, and Botswana's Okavango Delta in the near future, so I'll be counting on you for my next trip too!
