We're newlyweds who got married this April after 2 years of dating, 2 years of living together, and 2 years of marriage preparation.

💬 What were your criteria for choosing a honeymoon destination?

We wanted somewhere as far from Korea as possible, somewhere uncommon. And a destination with diverse attractions and nature. "A unique trip different from others" was the biggest keyword. We wanted to make our honeymoon as special as our wedding!

💬 Where did you go first?

📌 First destination: Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

Our first destination was Zimbabwe. We went to see Victoria Falls, one of the world's three great waterfalls.

💬 How was Victoria Falls?

It was absolutely overwhelming. Victoria Falls is locally known as 'Mosi-oa-Tunya' (meaning 'the smoke that thunders') and the moment we saw it in person, we instantly understood why.
Watching the waterfalls that stretch across 1.7 kilometers, with rainbows forming in the rising mist, was a moment we’ll never forget.

💬 What was your next destination?

📌 Second destination: Botswana

We moved to Botswana. We were incredibly excited to visit Chobe National Park which is famous for its elephants, and we also had high expectations for the Okavango Delta as a UNESCO World Heritage site.

💬 What activities did you do in Botswana?

We saw tons of elephants at Chobe National Park and took a small aircraft to the Okavango Delta. Through game drives, the highlight of African travel, we saw various animals and rode mokoros, traditional African canoes, traveling along quiet waterways to observe wildlife and nature up close. It was one continuous moment of becoming one with nature. The experience of seeing wild animals up close was particularly impressive.

💬 What was your final destination in Africa?

📌Third destination: South Africa

Our final destination was South Africa.

💬 What places did you visit there?

We visited the famous penguin colony at Boulders Beach, saw the Cape of Good Hope, and toured the Cape Town wineries. The atmosphere in Cape Town was absolutely wonderful, and with so many different activities to choose from, it was the perfect place to end our trip.

💬 What's your overall impression of the entire trip?

Everyone we met, from the local managers to the people we encountered across Africa, was so incredibly warm and friendly. Thanks to their kindness, we finished our honeymoon in high spirits and made memories that will truly last a lifetime.
