💬 What made you decide on Africa as your honeymoon destination?

We discovered our shared dream of traveling to Tanzania on our very first blind date. We always knew we’d visit Africa together, so choosing it as our honeymoon destination was a natural and unforgettable choice.

💬 How did your trip begin? I'm curious about your very first itinerary.

We started our journey at Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. Seeing a landscape I had only ever seen in photos right before my eyes was truly spectacular. It was at that exact moment that it finally hit me that we were actually in Africa.

💬 How was the game drive (safari)?

Searching for the animals we wanted to see across the vast plains felt just like a treasure hunt. It was such a fun and precious experience. The animals were just going about their daily lives in their natural habitat, but being able to find them and watch them up close felt strangely fascinating.

💬 What advantages did you feel were unique to Ahmo Travel through this trip?

The biggest highlight of our trip was undoubtedly the exceptional quality of our tour guide, Mr. T. Having him with us completely transformed the quality of our travel experience. He provided incredibly detailed explanations and could instantly identify every animal or bird that passed by, making the entire journey so much more interesting. Instead of just looking at the wildlife, learning the reasons behind their behaviors raised our engagement to a whole new level. Mr. T was so passionate that he had even memorized the pages of animal field guides, and his professional insights made our time in the bush unforgettable. Because this was our first time in Africa, we were naturally a bit nervous, but his warm care kept us at ease throughout the entire trip.

💬 I heard this was your first time trying African food - did it suit your taste?

While my husband had previously lived in Uganda for six months, this was my first time traveling to Africa. The chefs prepared global menus that harmonized well with local cuisine, and surprisingly, it suited my taste perfectly. It felt as though it was tailored exactly to my palate, making our meal times genuinely enjoyable.

💬 How was your final itinerary in Mauritius? If you were to describe your entire honeymoon in one line?

In Mauritius, we enjoyed a relaxing resort vacation and spent the final days of our journey at a leisurely pace. It was a truly fulfilling honeymoon that perfectly combined the vivid safari adventure of Africa with the peaceful relaxation of Mauritius. Returning home after happily completing the very first bucket list trip we ever dreamed of together fills us with so much satisfaction.
