👋 First, please give us a brief self-introduction!

Hello, I’m Park Ji-in. I recently went on a special honeymoon trip across several African countries. I’ve always loved experiencing new cultures, so I wanted our celebration of marriage to be something truly unique and memorable.

💬 What made you choose Africa as your honeymoon destination?

While we were deciding where to go for our honeymoon, I found myself thinking, “If this is a once-in-a-lifetime trip, I want it to be somewhere as exotic and far away as possible.” That's when Africa caught my eye; giving us the feeling of experiencing multiple worlds in one trip was very appealing to me. Throughout the actual trip, we experienced completely different landscapes and cultures one after another, so I really felt we made the right choice.

💬 Is there a particular moment or place from your trip that stands out most in your memory?

The first thing that comes to mind is Botswana's Chobe National Park. As the area with the largest elephant population, we could literally see massive herds of elephants right in front of us. That moment is still vivid in my memory.

And Victoria Falls was also unforgettable. The scale was completely different from what you see in videos. The water spray shooting up from the falls and the rainbow formed above it was absolutely spectacular.

Also, at Kenya's Maasai Mara, we actually witnessed wild animals hunting and encountered nature's raw ecosystem, which was truly special. It's one of the most intense memories from our entire trip.

💬 Could you introduce any memorable restaurants from your trip?

There was a restaurant called 'The Social Kitchen' near Victoria Falls that was really great. It had only been open for about a month, so it felt like a new hotspot, and both the atmosphere and the food were excellent. The pizza, in particular, was especially impressive—I’d definitely recommend stopping by if you’re visiting the Victoria Falls area.

I can confidently say that Africa is a place everyone should visit at least once. Seeing elephants, lions, giraffes, and zebras right before our eyes was an experience of wonder that can never be felt through photos or videos, and each country's unique charm meant there was never a dull moment throughout our travels.
