💬 Why I chose AhmoTravel

While deciding where to go for our honeymoon, we figured Europe would be too hot in July, so we picked Tanzania + Zanzibar, a honeymoon spot that isn't the usual choice. There is so much to look into while preparing for a wedding... honestly, planning the honeymoon too felt like too much, so we signed up with AhmoTravel, who plans the whole itinerary for you..!

Safaris are expensive to begin with, and Serengeti lodges range from tented lodges to luxury lodges... a luxury lodge is about 200 for 1 night and a tented lodge about 50-70, and since they are in the middle of the plains, the prices are really high 🤑🤑🤑 Even booking a safari as a private tour on your own was super expensive... I read a lot of blog posts from people who booked everything themselves and were then told there was no reservation...? I saw lots of cases like that, but with AhmoTravel we had no such worries and had a great trip!!!!

Of course, traveling with AhmoTravel costs a bit more than booking on your own, but I'm very satisfied because I got to travel Africa that much more safely.

💬 Our African honeymoon itinerary

First, my safari itinerary:
📌Serval Wildlife: 1 night
📌Serengeti plains: 4 nights
📌Ngorongoro: 1 night
📌Tarangire: 1 night

After that, we relaxed in Zanzibar

💬 First day: a luxury stay in Africa

Our first night was at Serval Wildlife, the place even Korean TV star Noh Hong-chul has stayed...!

You can stay overnight or just do the experience; an overnight stay costs about 1.5-2 million won for 1 night. I chose to stay...! When you stay, you can do so much, like feeding the animals, watching the sunset with them, and having them come right up to your door in the morning. It was the best ❤️‍🔥 The next day we were flying over to the Serengeti on a small plane, and I was worried we would have to leave before finishing all the animal experiences, but AhmoTravel timed the flight perfectly, so we could finish everything at Serval Wildlife before leaving.

💬 Safe and punctual pickups and drop-offs

Our guide, Godson! Thanks to him we got to see the Big Five. He was never late, not even once, and always showed up right on time. During the safari we moved to a new lodge almost every day.

Unlike Korea, Africa has a pole pole (slowly, slowly) culture, so I was worried, but our transfer guide arrived exactly on time for pickup, and I'm so grateful to him...! He picked us up at Kilimanjaro Airport on the first day and took us to the small plane to the Serengeti, so our time together was short, but he saw us off until the very end at the airport, which was really touching.
