India Group Tour: From Delhi to Ladakh and Pangong Lake, a Northern India Trip Made Better Together
India is a place many people want to visit at least once, yet it can feel a little daunting to set off alone. From bustling cities to high Himalayan landscapes, it shows a completely different face depending on where you go.
On this India group tour, we started in Delhi and traveled together through Ladakh, the Nubra Valley and Pangong Lake. Here is a look back at that time, with photos taken along the way.
From Delhi to Ladakh: How India's Scenery Changes

This India group tour began in Delhi and continued on to Ladakh. Leaving Delhi's streets, packed with people and cars, for a high plateau framed by the Himalayas, you discover entirely different scenery within the same country.
In Ladakh, we based ourselves in Leh and slowly settled into life at high altitude, passing monasteries and rugged mountain landscapes. From the energy of the city to the stillness of Ladakh. We found these very different sides of India all within a single trip.
Our Time in the Nubra Valley and at Pangong Lake
Even within Ladakh, the scenery keeps changing. In the Nubra Valley we came upon sand dunes spread between barren mountains, and in Turtuk we walked through a village of orchards and old houses, getting a closer look at everyday local life. At the end of the trip, Pangong Lake was waiting, its blue water stretching out between rugged mountain ranges.
Taking in the same views, walking together, taking photos and sharing stories.
Remembering not just the places, but the moments you shared there
That, too, is part of the joy an India group tour can bring.
Who an India Group Tour Suits Best
If any of the following sounds like you, an India group tour could be a good way to travel.
- You want to travel in India but feel a little hesitant about going alone
- You want to see more of India than Delhi, from Ladakh to the Nubra Valley and Pangong Lake
- You would like to share the experience with people who have similar interests
You get to experience India in a different way from traveling alone, and share your time on the road with the people you travel with.
What Traveling Together Leaves Behind
When a trip ends, it isn't only the famous places and views that stay with you. The time spent walking together, the conversations over the same view, and the moments that naturally built up along the way stay with you for a long time, too. Where you traveled matters, but who you shared that time with is also one of the things that makes a trip special.
